Kate Brewerton

Kate graduated from the University of Otago in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree.

She then worked for three years in a Sydney private practice before moving to London on her O.E for two years. Whilst in the U.K, Kate worked as a locum physiotherapist in both the public and private sectors, whilst travelling as often as possible in between. Kate returned to Dunedin in 2015 and has been working at Sportsmed Mosgiel since.

Kate likes a hands-on approach to Physiotherapy combining manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, and gym rehabilitation. She enjoys treating a wide variety of injuries including sports injuries, work related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation and seeing her patients overcome their injuries and help them return to their full potential.

Outside of work Kate enjoys taking her dog Mickey for a walk and has a keen interest in sports having been a representative softball player.
