Karen Meehan

Karen graduated from the University of Otago in 2017, gaining a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours, and is currently completing post-graduate study.

Karen grew up playing a wide range of sports both socially and competitively, representing Wellington in athletics while at high school. This involvement in sport led to an interest in how the body works, as well as injury prevention and recovery.

Having worked with Green Island Rugby Club since starting at Sportsmed Mosgiel in 2018, Karen has just completed the 2022 season. Karen was also the Physiotherapist for the Highlanders U20 rugby team that attended the National tournament this year.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys getting outdoors with the dog, and spending time with family and friends.
